PERSONAL: WHY I DECIDED TO BECOME A PHOTOGRAPHER
It was my wedding day and I was getting ready, anxiously awaiting for my first look; however, my photographer was no where to be found. Voice messages, calling and even a dear friend going to their house, but no answer. The photographer took the money and ran.

More about me.....
Why do I photograph.
I always loved taking photos, when I was young I stole/borrowed my dad’s camera for a photo class at school. I loved every minute of the click. When I was asked if I had a million dollars what I would be, I said a photographer. It wasn’t until my own wedding when my wedding photographer took our money and never showed to our wedding. It was devastating but out of that came my business, I looked at my new husband and asked if I could spend our life savings to start the business.
What made me different was I wanted my couples to have an amazing day and learned how to really serve my couples by planning the day and knowing fixes to the many wedding problems.
1. How to tie a bowtie, 2. Make a boutonniere, 3. I am sweating too much, 4. I got makeup on my dress, 5. I got blood on my white shirt, 6. Missing dress socks.
I truly didn’t want to miss a moment of my couple’s day and any way I could make it better that’s what I want to do.
Locations we shoot.
We shoot all over the world for our sessions. We will pick a location, I have suggestions. I don’t have a studio. I work on location. Urban, natural, field, parks, hotels are amazing. For newborn sessions I go to the babys house with a setup, but have a small studio for kids.
Estes Park is amazing
Tips for shooting with kids and babies.
1. Naps schedule, don’t mess with the naps. Kids are people of habit, naps recharge them. If your kid naps at 10am have a session start at 830am so they are energized and won’t melt down halfway through. If you need the session after make sure they are fed so 1pm so they can wake up have lunch and have some brief play time.
2. Snacks. Don’t bring chocolate if you do, bring red m&m’s the mini ones. DO NOT give blue, green dye candy, chips, crackers.
3. Bear or toy they will stare
4. Wrap a small 1$ gift and tell them they can get it when the session is done
What to wear / Bring!?
The biggest question of them all for every session.
Do not be matchy matchy (White shirt, blue jeans)

Props, blankets are fun
(If you have stylized ideas, express them and brain storm with your photographer)

Pets: Bring treats, a leash and someone to take them if they aren’t needed for the entire shoot. Bring water and some food.
The Session: What to Expect!
I will arrive a few mins EARLY to scope things out and setup.
When you arrive make sure all your clothes or outfits are in a tote bag for easy carrying.
We will walk to the furthest point to start and work our way back
Please bring comfy walking shoes and have them on, to achieve maximimum shooting time.
I will talk with you and pose you and have you interact with me, the best sessions are constantly moving and changing. Couples sessions I am going to bring out the laughter and intimacy. Family sessions I need the parents to look at me and not your children, I will switch to interaction as well.
Once I feel like we got a good set of images from the 1st outfit we will change into the 2nd one. And then the 3rd. We will wrap up the session by going over any desired shots that we may have missed.
I get to now really work after the session is done, I will be looking through the hundreds of photos and picking out the ones that really make you look amazing. Then the challenging part by making you look even more amazing. But how can I do that your already too stunning. I’ll edit out acne and scars and smooth skin that it still really looks like you. Then I place all of the amazing photos online for you to download and have on a great gallery that’s easily shared. Print from the site, print at shutterflly, mpix, walgreens (please no, there are better options) and more. You will receive an email from me, telling you that your images are ready!
We have canvas’s, Prints, Albums, Thumbdrives, Disks, and Memory boxes
I am here to help in any way, and they can contact me at about anything, questions, comments and dirogatory statements.
Sarah and Eric were so great to work with! The one thing I highly suggest to other brides is do not skimp on the photographer, they were worth every penny. They were on time (actually really early so we got lots of great pictures!), kept us on schedule for the wedding and reception, made my life as the bride super easy, and were just fun. We ran into some issues running late due to hair/make up and Sarah made the adjustments without me having to worry about anything. She made us laugh naturally in the photos and even showed our guests how to do the Copper Head road dance! We also received our pictures quickly after the wedding, within two weeks. The photos they took really captured the emotions of the day, unlike I've seen before with wedding photographers. I highly recommend them to capture your big day!
do not skimp on the photographer
I don't think even a 5 star review will give her justice. Not only was she an amazing photographer that captured our love perfectly, she also helped perform duties that most maid of honors and wedding coordinators do! The things she did ranged from planning out the entire timeline and managing it, gave me tons of advice, tying my sash and the groom's ties, helping me with my dress change and much more! When we got the pictures back my family and friends were gushing on how good she is. I can't recommend her enough!
