Engagement Shoot throughout Colorado

The winter time is engagement season, photographers like to say. Its when most people get engaged and contact their wedding photographer. Which means very fun snowy engagement photos. But Colorado can have a mixture of winter and summer and then severer winter like -8 or below. Lovely Colorado could be anything during the winter 60 degree, -13 you never know what your about to get. I had the pleasure of doing  a few shoots in Vail Colorado where the temp was -8 for a high. Crazy enough it wasn’t bad,  it wasn’t 70 degree weather but it wasn’t too bad until the wind blew. My hands turned to icy on my camera, never knew having a alloy base would be so cold. It made things interesting for sure. But then just yesterday went to Georgetown, CO and it was 40-50 degrees, imagine what a week can do.
