I suck at blogging, most of the time I forget to. But instead of promising to do better I am going to update you on whats going on.
I am not a writer. Obviously I am a photographer, I take photos. When I was little I thought I should write a book and be a famous writer but I hate grammar, most sentence structures, if it weren’t for spell check I would sound like an idiot, and I love throwing commas everywhere.
Each of my clients are amazing! To say the least, some weddings don’t have any problems, others have there fair share but they all do one thing in common: They get married! They laugh and smile and have a great time.
I have learned a lot in the last 3 years- can never have enough safety pins, food, water, and timelines are super nice to have.
–101–
Wear your shoes for your wedding before your wedding day, they will kill your feet
Take your tags off your wedding dress or bring a knife or sizzers the day of
Remind your bridesmaids to not be complicated that day- its about you not them- remind them if need be
Its super nice to do photos before hand! If you don’t do it before hand leave ample time afterwards because it will take awhile
Know restrictions from venues and who that may effect- sounds, lights, flash ext
Its never to early to plan anything
Guys are easy to get dressed but they wonder off if they don’t have a specific place to be
Make timelines for all wedding party so they know where they have to be and what is expected
Remember at the end of the day there are only a few things that will remain: wedding ring, dress, photos, and memories- oh most likely left over cake
TAKE TIME TO ENJOY YOUR WEDDING the day before the wedding if it isn’t done its never going to be done.
Make a list of 3 things that you really really care about and thats what you can be firm about, after that its out of your hands. Oh and can’t cheat by saying the wedding is one of my things- it has to be something like my dress, hair, photos, music, centerpieces
