Ways to get a reaction from your client

As I tell all my clients- I am a bit weird- capturing images day in day out, I am looking for reactions.

You know the ones. Groom seeing his bride for the first time.

But the images that seem to stand out are the laughter, intimate shots that you see on Pintrest and in Magazines everywhere.

So how do you get those… Great question.

My methods are weird but I think they work.

1. The whole idea of what you say is to get a reaction. If you set up a couple in a position and you say to the guy to blow or sniff the ear that is furthest away from camera you get reactions like this

The Girl starts to laugh and shrugs her shoulders in a playful way. It helps get those intimate shots

2. Tell them: Whisper the sound of a dying cow in the ear – its great its so weird and off beat that the reaction is super fun. They both start to laugh.

3. Closing the couples eyes and have them breath can create such an intimate mood.
