If you just got engaged the first question that you have received as soon as you announce (I am engaged) the response is usually something like “Congratulations, when is the big day”
Those first few moments when you said yes to the love of your life, now telling the world- the response is when is the big day going to be.
People are wanting to know your wedding date so they can “save” plan on your big day.
Hence the Save the date cards were made for your stressful pleasure. At times Wedding “traditions” seem to be overwhelming but save the date can be fun and funny, it also can be an evite or an email saying. Coming soon in 2018 I am getting married, you will know soon. Be prepared.
Martha Sterwart and many many websites have dedicated “millions ” to sell you any type of pinterest or etsy card to send to your people.
The whole purpose of the Save the dates, to let people know your wedding will be taken place on such and such date.
Now save the date cards or email can be as elaborate as you want, some details of this card can feel crazy.
1.Setting the date
(Finding the venue)
Both the date and the venue kind of go hand in hand unless you haveĀ a super special date that you would like to get married on
2. If you want to have a picture on the save the date cards, hiring a photographer for the wedding or just the engagement session will need to take place
Ignore some of the checklists that say you need to send SAVE THE DATES out 9 month in advanced, generally if you let your guest know roughly 3-4 months in advanced everyone who wants to be part of your wedding will be there.
There are a million in one ways to do SAVE THE DATES figure out what would be best for you and don’t worry about what Others are doing, make it your own.
BECAUSE ITS YOUR WEDDING
