This year as it hits off, is amazing! I am so blessed to be able to capture such wonderful weddings and have great clients! Hudson Gardens, Della Terra, Bella Sera, Our Lady of Loreto, University of Denver, The Drake Center, Holiday Inn, and so much more!
I hope to never disappoint a client, my own wedding photographer didn’t show up and in the past few weeks I have had the privilege in helping brides out whose photographers bailed on them. I can’t help but start an association that is an integrity wedding photographer association where if it is found out that they bailed on clients other than dying, or severely injured they won’t be submitted into the association. There must be a higher standard for photographers, it should once again be a society of prestige that comes with a TON of responsibility.
I have also started a group called “The Last Minute Wedding Photographers” LMWP group where it is a network of photographers who can pass on brides names to other worth while photographers to help save the day for brides.
A photographer should ALWAYS be at a wedding, no matter what the circumstances are, else they find their replacement that has equal skill level and character.
Our jobs as photographers is first and foremost to the bride and groom, we get to take pictures for a living, we get to experience one of the best days of their lives and we can make it awesome or we can make it a nightmare. Getting paid is nice but should never be the reason why we love our job or why we do it.
