Christmas time came upon us quickly- sort of.
We knew it was coming, but didn’t really do much this year.We have a few traditions that Erik and I do for Christmas. Each year we make a christmas ornament each year- both of us.
One year we made – Feather Balls
Second year we made- Icicles
This year we made- Sequin balls – they took FOREVER one ball took an hour or two easily. Why did I pick this project, I really don’t know. But we have 3 balls on our tree. YAY!
SO feel sorry for Erik because what do you get a wedding photographer for Christmas- that isn’t camera related. It can be hard, I don’t really care for jewery, we go out to eat often when we want, I have all the DISNEY movies- and netflix takes care of my Law and Order addiction. So he was cleaver to find things that I want but didn’t know I want and wasn’t camera related- super hard.
He got my 3 seasons of Ducktales- disney show- super awesome! very excited for it, Otterbox for my phone, gardening tools for my indoor attempt to have a green thumb, and a gorilla pod for my small personal camera for our crazy trips
I never knew before getting married that people didn’t open presents on Christmas Eve, my family always opened up all of our gifts on Christmas Eve. So here is Christmas Eve with my Parents.
My dad got a cooking hat for Christmas- so cute.
It was so fun being with my parents, each year we have questions to get deeper conversation.
1. What did you learn or relearn this year? 2. What was very significant thing, moment that happened this year?
Very quickly you get some special moments to reflect on. TRY IT!
Christmas day was spent with Erik’s Family
My hubby is still a kid at heart, he got legos from his mom and never seen him jump into it so so fast. 🙂
I hope your Christmas was fun and special!
