I have to start this post by saying I am not pregnant, everyone thinks every news I say might be me announcing my pregnancy. But sorry to dissappoint it’s not that.

But this December I became an aunty ! For the first time. As I heard the news a few short days ago, I could only scream with joy!

The joys of becoming an aunt without being pregnant for 10 months. It’s great, as I learn the pains while being pregnant from others I just wonder at the amazement of the whole process.

I love my new nephew Dylan Cooper such a great name. He is awesome.

I need to tell a little story, I am sure some have ran into this wall before. When my sister in law was pregnant I learned that my mom and sister were making a hand stitched blanket. All I know the pressure was on, hand made blankets will triumph anything from babies r us. I thought with no idea other than photos, something meaningful but I first thought that was a cop out that I needed to make something but as the due date for closer that soon got to my top list.

Luckily I had frequent flier miles from delta that I was able to get out the day after Christmas to see him. Crazy enough the airports were pretty fine. Once getting into alabama and getting my rental car, pulling up to their house I had to stop and smirk that my brother was a father. Wow! Now for the moment I waited for. Seeing him. He looked much like my brother when he was young. Holding him in my arms I was ever content just looking at him and just see him sleep and listen to how the last few days were going.
